West Salem Man Apprehended After 5 Hour Man Hunt
An Ashland County Sheriff’s Office Deputy saw a male, who had a felony warrant, as he drove down County Road 175, near County Road 530. The Deputy attempted to turn around and go back to where the male was standing, when the male fled into a nearby woods.
The male, who was identified as Bobby Sallee, 40, of West Salem, had multiple Felony and Misdemeanor warrants.
A perimeter was set up, and the area was searched, to no avail.
Then a 911 caller advised a that a male who looked suspicious was on Township Road 900, and it matched his description.
Sheriff’s Deputies located Bobby Sallee, and he was taken into custody without incident, at the intersection of Township Road 900 & Township Road 53 in a swampy area.
Bobby Sallee was transported to Medina County Jail.
