Vehicle Crash This Morning

Ashland County Sheriff’s Office, Ruggles Troy Fire Department, and Firelands Ambulance responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of US Route 224 and US Route 250, at the Truck Pro company, located at 1507 US-224, around 7:42am this morning.

Collin Mcintosh, 23, Mansfield, OH, was driving a four door 2011 Gray Honda westbound on us route 224, when he went off the left side of the highway, striking an embankment, and went airborne for approximately 50 feet before striking a semi-trailer sitting in the parking lot of Truck Pro.

Driver was transported to Ashland Samaritan Hospital for minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by Ashland County Sheriff’s Office.

Citations pending due to ongoing investigation.
