Two Vehicle Crash on State Route 60 Sends Two to Hospital

Ashland County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, Hayesville Fire Department & EMS, and Ashland EMS respond to a two vehicle accident on State Route 60, near the JVS, at around 6:50pm.

A 17-year-old female from Jeromesville, was driving a 2017 Chevy, Southbound on State Route 60, when she went left of center, striking Chelsey Hensley, 28, from Ashland, who was driving a 2018 GMC, Northbound on State Route 60.

Both drivers were wearing their seat-belts at the time of the crash, and were transported to the hospital with what is believed to be non-life-threatening-injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office.
