Ashland County Sheriff’s Office Detectives and Deputies, along with Ashland Police Division Detectives assigned to the METRICH Drug Task Force, executed a Search Warrant on U.S. Route 42 this morning.
At the same time, Agents from the Medway Drug Enforcement Agency, Medina County Drug Task Force , Wooster Police Department Criminal Impact Unit, Wayne County Sheriff, and the West Salem Police Department executed a search warrant in the village of West Salem at 123 E Buckeye St..
These two searches were unrelated to each other and performed by different agencies.
A request to obtain information to the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office resulted in, “We are unable to release information at this time,” commented Chief Deputy David Blake.
I reached out to the Ashland Police Division, but was unable to speak to the Chief.
