Ashland County Sheriff’s Deputies & Huron County Sheriff’s Deputies, Ruggles Troy Fire Department & EMS, Firelands EMS, Savannah EMS, Sullivan EMS, and New London Fire Department & EMS responded to the 1200 Block of Ashland Country Road 16, for a single vehicle rollover accident, around 4:53pm today.
Four juveniles were driving Westbound on Ashland Country Road 16, in a 2008 Chevy impala SS, when the driver lost control of the vehicle on Ashland Country Road 16, going off the left side of the road, rolling over multiple times, then going airborne and striking a utility pole, flipping over, and finally coming to rest on it’s top.
Life Flight was called, but later cancelled. All four of the juveniles were transported by different EMS to Fisher-Titus Medical Center. At least two was reported to have serious injuries. The extent of injuries is unknown for the other two.
The crash remains under investigation by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office.
